Orientation Program for Fresher Students with Disabilities
Orientation Program for Fresher Students with Disabilities:
At the beginning of each academic year, the Center organizes a specialized preparation program that extends for a week and aims to help fresher students with disabilities adapt to the new university environment and learn about the university facilities and services provided by the Center for Students with Special Needs and the relevant authorities. In particular, the induction program is coordinated in the presence of representatives of the Deanship of Admission and Registration Affairs, the Deanship of the Joint First Year, the Department of Student Housing, the Department of Nutrition, the General Administration of University Safety and Security, the Universal Access Program, and the Higher Program for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, to introduce the services provided by each entity and how to benefit from them. The orientation program also coordinates meetings between students with disabilities, graduates, and fresher students, to support student counseling and realize the exchange of experiences. In addition, the center works to help all students with disabilities who are new to the training week to complete their registration procedures in student housing in addition to other necessary procedures in the university environment.
