General Conditions

• Participating universities shall consider the customs, traditions, and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and adhere to academic and university controls in the offer submitted.

• The participating university shall provide all its needs (costumes, decorations, accessories, and all related to their theatrical performances), and King Saud University shall be responsible for preparing the exhibition venue (with acoustics and lighting) according to the available facilities.

• Participation as representatives shall be limited to regular students and those who recently graduated from Saudi universities during the festival period.

• The number of participating theatrical teams per university shall not exceed eight (8) persons including artists, technicians, administrators, and directors.

• Each university shall nominate an officer and shall provide King Saud University with all contact details (mobile number - e-mail), and shall send them to e-mail (aawlia@ksu.edu.sa).

Second - Technical Conditions:

• The duration of the performance shall not be less than twenty-five (25) minutes, and not more than forty-five (45) minutes.

• All theatrical performances shall be performed on the stage of King Saud University.

• The festival management shall be provided with the names of the work team coupled with their roles before the end of the registration on Monday, 20/2/2023. 

• The director of the work shall submit his direction plan in writing, with a full explanation of the lighting and decoration plan, and submit it to the technical committee.

• Three copies of the play's text shall be submitted, provided that the text complies with the standard literary and theatrical terms of (duo-drama).

• A brief video of the participating performance shall be sent before the end of the registration on Monday, 20/2/2023, from the start of the festival, provided that the performance is fully produced by the participating university.

• The theatrical performance shall be dedicated and directed to the adult theater.

• Intellectual and material property rights and any part of the play shall be under the responsibility of the participating university.

Subscriptions and Fees

• Each university shall pay subscription fees as follows:

• Each university shall pay a general subscription in the amount of (7500) seven thousand five hundred Saudi riyals.

• Each university shall pay a subscription fee for each participating and administrative individual in the amount of (1500), one thousand five hundred Saudi riyals.

• The host university shall be responsible for the accommodation, nutrition, and transportation to and from the airport, and transportation between the delegations' accommodation and the venue of participation. The fees shall not include the value of tickets for the participating university.

All fees shall be deposited in the account of the Student Fund at King Saud University after the approval of the Refereeing Committee of the theatrical performance
