General Conditions and Controls for Participation in the Scientific Forum 

1.      All participants must comply with Islamic principles, values, provisions, and regulations.

2.      The topic of the submitted participation shall be within the themes of the Scientific Forum and its events. 

3.      All participants must adhere to the special forms in each track or event theme). No other forms shall be accepted.

4.      The participant must not have previously received any award in previous scientific forums at King Saud University or previous scientific conferences organized by the Ministry of Higher Education or have previously received any local, regional, or international award.

5.        Participants shall be committed to filling in the fields for their CVs on the Forum site.

6.       Approval of the declaration form by the student in the electronic system at the time of registration.

7.     The participant shall review and audit all personal information entered by him/her, and agree or disagree to participate based on the validity of the information and the availability of conditions, and this shall be under his/her responsibility.

8.      The Executive Committee of the Scientific Forum shall determine a timetable for the mechanism of participation in the Forum in terms of announcement, submission, arbitration, and announcement of the final result of the winners of the Forum

9.       The format of the general writing of the participants in the scientific forum shall be as follows: 

10.       Contributions submitted in Arabic: Traditional Arabic font size 16,

11. Contributions submitted in English: font used Times New Roman size 14

12. Page size A4 Line spacing: this shall be a line and a half - margin: 2.5 cm from all directions and page numbering, all required files shall be saved in Word format and uploaded on the site.

13.       The content of the material shall not conflict with the goals and objectives of King Saud University.

14.       Participants shall adhere to the conditions and controls of each theme and each of the accompanying events.

15.      The submitted participation shall be authentic and from the thought and work of the applicant, and it shall be devoid of anything that disturbs the scientific honesty or detracts from the intellectual rights of others.

16.      Participation shall be from students enrolled in King Saud University. (in the diploma, bachelor, master, or doctoral stage), or from graduates of the previous second semester.

17.      If the submitted work is shared between more than one student, the names of all participants shall be entered in addition to the participation rate of each of them. The name of the main participant shall be indicated at the site of the scientific forum.

18.       The student shall be entitled to only one participation as a major participant in the scientific research theme, and the special theme, the path of innovations and inventions and the path of talent, equivalent to a maximum of four main participations in the forum.

19.      Entries shall be vetted by professionals and a program specialized in scientific quotations. Whoever is proven against him that he breached scientific honesty, or intentionally violated the conditions shall be prohibited from participating in the forum. He shall be referred to the University Disciplinary Committee, and the award shall be withdrawn from him if the violation is discovered after the announcement of the victory.

20.      Except for the Arabic oration activity, the student shall have the freedom to choose the subject of the research, the artwork, or the event in which he/she participates.
