Objectives and Tasks of the Unit
Description:
The Student Rights Protection Unit is one of the units of the Deanship of Student Affairs that works to build the personality of the university student and develop his/her abilities to face the problems that hinder his/her career by consolidating the concept of demanding justice and taking the initiative to prevent injustice to achieve a homogeneous university community in which the spirit of cooperation prevails among the university employees and to reach the highest levels of quality of academic work by adopting the principles of justice and equity as a basic pillar in building an ideal society within the university.
Objectives:
1- Informing students of their university rights and how to obtain them by resorting to legal and official channels within the university.
2- Providing the necessary consultations to students regarding their academic and non-academic problems related to the university.
3. Investigating and adjudicating complaints and grievances filed by students.
Tasks and duties:
1- Following up on the work of the sub-committees in the colleges and their recommendations on the complaints submitted to them by male and female students.
2- Issuing recommendations concerning the grievances filed against the decisions of the sub-committees of the colleges.
